Dirk hits one foot fade away. Reaches 30,000 milestone

Dirk's signature one foot fade away jumper

Dallas Maverick’s 7 foot German legend Drik Nowitzki hits another milestone Tuesday night against the LA Lakers.

Playing on his 19th NBA season, Dirk never fails to deliver entertainment to the crowd whenever he steps into the hardwood.

He nailed the 6th spot of 30k point club after striking a jumper at 10:58 of second quarter against Lakers Larry Nance Jr.

Among other player who hits the same milestones were Kareem abdul-Jabar, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Malone and Kobe Bryant.

"It's been sort of surreal -- 30,000 is amazing, a lot of points," "Obviously, every milestone makes you reflect a little bit, reflect on people who helped you, been with you all this way, from all the coaches and Cuban and all the teammates I had, the fans that went with me through thick and thin. "It's been an amazing ride, and hopefully a couple of more baskets are coming and then it's time to ride off into the sunset." – Dirk Nowtizki

Team mates, fans around the world, co-athletes and NBA commissioner Adam Silver pay honor to this historic event.

“Dirk has been a model player and terrific ambassador for our game. This latest accomplishment further establishes his legacy as one of the NBA’s greatest players,” – Adam Silver

Dirk Nowitzki went unstoppable against the short handed Los Angeles Lakers. He scored 18 points in 1st quarter, most since ‘14 with 20 points.

The Mavericks won the match 122-111.  Dirk contributed total points of 25 and 11 rebounds.
