Pacquiao-Horn to meet in the summer in Brisbane Australia

After failing to lure Juan Manuel Marquez to sign a deal to stage a fifth bout against Pacquiao and got tricked with an astonishing $38 Mil offer from the middle east, Arum and Team Pacquiao has reached the dead end. They have no other choice but to spend their summer in Australia.

Top Rank’s Bob Arum is currently on the move to seal the deal between Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and Australian Olympian Jeff Horn.

Jeff Horn (16-0 11 KOs) is still unknown to some boxing fans and hasn’t fought anyone with Pacquiao's caliber.

The said bout is proposed to be done in the summer in Brisbane Australia, Horn’s home country.

Per Bob Arum, the deal will be finalized by this week and there’s nothing to rush. There’s no deadline. Everything runs smoothly.

"The idea was that in order to secure the money from the Queensland government we had to tell them that the deal was done by the end of March and right now we're finishing up all the contracts." -  Bob Arum

"As far as I'm concerned everything is done. But there are some little strings but they don't amount to much," - Bob Arum

When asked who will televise the bout, Bob Arum replied;

"First, we want to finalize the deal. Then we're going to have press conferences in Australia for about a week then we'll come back to the United States and we'll figure that out." - Bob Arum

#Sportstalk247 is doubtful that Pacquiao-Horn could reach 300k plus pay-per-view buys.

Bob Arum and his gang are blessed if they would get 250k buys.
This is not the boxing fans want to see. This fight doesn’t make any sense and couldn’t be written in history.

  1. It will get far more buys than that. You are a clown, Jeff Horn is one of the most exciting fighters around. Action from the first bell.
