Floyd Mayweather Jr plans to buy an NBA team

Floyd Mayweather with his bags full of breads is ready to buy an NBA team, the retired boxing icon proclaimed on social media on last week.

Just had a great meeting with Magic Johnson. It’s about time for me to buy an NBA team. If you’re ready to sell your NBA team, please get in touch with me. #TMT #Michigan #LivingLegends #Businessmen – Floyd Mayweather Jr

Ending his 20-year career in boxing with 49 and 0, Mayweather still looks respectable and comfortable. After the retirement, he still makes millions of dollars outside the ring. He engages himself more on business, projects or any gimmicks that would make him a tycoon.

He topped Forbes’ world’s highest-paid athlete for the years 2012, 2014 and 2015. Reportedly, he has a net worth of $340 Mil (as of 1/7/17).

In his fight with Pacquiao “Fight of the Century”, Floyd took home $230 Million in 36 minutes. That’s the highest pay he received on his entire career in boxing. Mayweather doesn’t need to pay anyone for the promotion since he has his own.

He last fought in September 12 2015 against Adre Berto and made $32 Million before announcing his departure from the sport.

Though Floyd is done wearing gloves, he still succeeds in filling his bank accounts. He’s a smart…businessman.
