George St-Pierre's bags packed, now leaving UFC

UFC veteran George St-Pierre (19-2)

Disappointing news for the fans who are expecting that the former UFC champ George St-Pierre (19-2) will be added to the UFC 206 line up. A rumored fight against Anderson Silva is no way to happen. Not even soon.

As “Rush” officially out of the UFC. The veteran MMA fighter is truly dedicated in returning back inside the octagon, but it seems that it won’t be with the UFC anymore.

St-Pierre announces that he is now a free agent

“MY lawyers terminate the contract with the UFC….”It was like a shock, because we felt like we were making progress, we are almost there.” – George St-Pierre

Dana White on GSP

GSP’s not fighting in Toronto,” “I don’t think he does (fight again). There’s a certain mentality you have to have to be a fighter, and Georges St-Pierre hasn’t had that mentality for a long time. And sometimes that’s not a bad thing. Listen, the guy went out on top. How many athletes really go out on top? Go out the way you want to go out? The guy made a lot of money and when you take – this isn’t a sport you take a three-year layoff from.” – Dana White

With George living UFC, his future is now unclear. What’s next for him? No one can really tell.
