Conor McGregor signs the dotted lines to fight Mayweather

Conor McGregor issued a statement saying that he already signed the contract to fight Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match.

In an exclusive interview in one of sports outlets, he confirmed that he has come to an agreement with the organizations involve in “Million Dollar Fight”.

“It’s an honour to sign this record-breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The ultimate Fighting Championship and Paradign Sports Management.”

“The first and most important part of this historic contract has now officially been signed off on. Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await Al Haymon and his boxer’s signature in the coming days.” – Conor McGregor

Believed to be the biggest fight in combat sports history has been in talks for over 12 months. Now, we are getting close on making this fairy tale story to a reality.

For some, this is a total junk, the fight doesn’t make any sense at the first place. Even if the fight hasn’t started yet, the two haven’t meet in the ring, everyone knows what would be the outcome of this “historic” fight.

Floyd Mayweather conquered the boxing world for many years. He had fought several former world champions on his career. He’s unbeaten, he’s the king. For Conor, he’s an impressive mix martial artists. He’s an explosive and all-around fighter. He grew up playing inside the cage. Octagon is his playground but haven’t tried to box and danced in the ring.

If you are going to think of it, in what way Conor can beat Floyd? Well, the answer is “lucky punch.” Like what Dana White said in one of his interviews, “anything can happen.”

Does that make this fight a little more suspense? Not at all. Hitting Floyd with “lucky punch” is a tough task. Wake up! He’s a defensive strategist; he has a master’s degree on that.  So, don’t expect to see a high quality of competitiveness when the two faces each other.
But despite of all of that, people are still thrilled to watch the fight. This contest will surely break any fighting records, revenues after revenues. It’s all about business.
