UFC
president Dana White who is working to make the most awaited showdown between
Mayweather and McGregor, believes that Conor is a bigger star than Manny
Pacquiao.
In a recent
interview with MMA Weekly, Dana White said that McGregor can bring a better
deal in fighting Floyd Mayweather.
He’s gonna make a couple of bucks.
He’s gonna do alright. If this fight even happens, Conor’s gonna make a lot of
money. Who doesn’t think that Conor is a global star? I think Conor is
bigger than Pacquiao…It’s going to be a typical boxing match where it’s all
about the main event…This won’t be a UFC event, it’ll be a boxing event…Conor’s
ready to fight…Win, lose or draw the Mayweather fight, he will fight again
before the end of the year. – Dana White
UFC’s two
division champion McGregor just came with an agreement with the UFC
organization to fight Mayweather last week. The contract has been signed by
Conor and they are now waiting for Floyd’s team to do the same.
The
Mayweather-McGregor will surely break any combat sporting records when it comes
to revenue. Both sides are eager to make the deal all because of the money on
the table that they can get from making this show.

is not convince, comparing McGregor to Pacquiao is a fool trick. Conor is truly
a global star and no question about that, but there’s no way you can link him
to Pacquiao.
From the salaries
they get and belts that they had on their shoulders and waist, you can notice a
huge gap between the two.
Pacquiao all
throughout his career fought for over 443 rounds and made almost $500 Million
in salaries. His biggest payday was on 2015 by fighting Mayweather at $125
Million. He’s a boxing global sensation and the only 8 division world champion.
For Conor, He
started his professional career as a mix martial artist back in 2008 (signed by
UFC in February 2013). He registered a record of 21-3 (W-L). The UFC gave him
$3 Million in UFC202 and an estimated of $3.5 Million in fighting Alvarez at
UFC205. He currently holds 2 title belts from two different UFC divisions.
The statements
above are enough. McGregor is no bigger than Pacquiao. You can’t have outshined
someone who already cemented his legacy in the sport by just doing a one fight.
He can’t expunge what Pacquiao has printed in the books.
