Former two division world champion
and professional Argentinian boxer “El Chino” Maidana has showed interest in
returning to the ring in the coming months.
Sources says that El Chino was
inspired by Pacquiao and Thurman’s latest respective victories.
He’s been doing some light workouts
in preparation of his return for some couple of weeks but kept it a secret from
the public.
El Chino last fought on 2014 losing a
back to back decisions to Floyd Mayweather but gaining the biggest purse of his
career.
Per report, the Argentinian pride
will be signing under the banner of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) that’s being
handled by Al Haymon who he has a great relationship with.
He’s eyeing a war against Pacquiao,
Canelo, Amir Khan and another set of rounds with Mayweather.
“Floyd, the first fight, I beat you. The second fight,
I knocked your tooth out, and now all that is missing is a third fight. I’m
here for my return. Khan, Canelo, Manny Pacquiao, I’m right here.” – El Chino
Maidana has an impressive record of
35-5 (31 KOs 78%) with notable wins against Adrien Broner (2013) and Victor
Ortiz (2009).
